  1. Cut the kim chee into bite sized pieces.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a soup pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the garlic, anchovies, and kim chee and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add the water, clam juice, red chili paste, soy sauce, and bring to a boil.
  5. Cut the tofu into large chunks and add to the boiling soup. Bring soup back to a boil.
  6. Salt to taste.
  7. Serve over rice and top with fresh green onion.
