Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and pat dry the chicken wings. Lay them out flat on a baking sheet and refrigerate them at least one hour to allow them to dry; this will help crisp the skin in the oven.
- Preheat oven to 400°. Set a wire rack inside large rimmed baking sheets.
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl; toss to coat. Divide wings between prepared racks and spread out in a single layer.
- Bake wings until cooked through and skin is crispy, 45–50 minutes.
