Asian Asparagus and Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 1in piece ginger
- 3 cups shiitake mushrooms
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup water
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
Instructions
- Cut asparagus into thirds
- Heat 2 tsp sesame oil over medium heat and add ginger (stir 1 min).
- Add mushrooms and garlic. Cook 2 mins.
- Add asparagus and 1/3 cup water, bring to boil, cover and cook until crisp-tender (approx. 3 mins)
- Add soy sauce and butter, cook 1 min.
- Season with salt and pepper.
